Objectives:

  • to speak about how different people can be;
  • to read the text and doing tasks;
  • to tell the class about hobby of your classmate;
  • to talk about people of different characters;
  • to develop students’ speaking and reading skills;
  • to provide a stable and welcoming atmosphere in the class.

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about friends

Materials: Power Point Presentation, Student’s Book, Workbook.

Slide 10-11. Work with Student’s Book. Read the text again and say if the sentences below are true or false (ex.2, p.46)

Slide 12-13. Work with Student’s Book. Ask and answer the questions in pairs (ex.3, p.46)

Slide 14. Work with Student’s Book. Work in pairs. Ask your partner about his/her hobbies. Make note and then tell the class about him/her (ex.4, p.46)
