Objectives:

• to have practice using them in the context correctly;

Outcomes: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to talk about adverbs of manner

Warm-up:

Slide 3. Introduction. Aim of the lesson.

Pre-activity:

Slide 5-6. Adverb Detective.

Main activity:

Slide 7. Grammar Corner.

Slide 8-9. Work with Student’s Book. Make adverbs from the adjectives in the box to complete the sentences ( ex.1, p.34)

Slide 10. Adverb Story Time.

Slide 11-12. Work with Student’s Book. Use ‘good’ or ‘well’ to complete the sentences (ex .2, p.34)

Slide 13. Gymnastic for the eyes.

Practice:

Slide 14-16. Work with Student’s Book. Group up the sentences into two columns: Adverbs and Adjectives (ex.3, p.34)

Slide 17-18. Work with Student’s Book. Choose an adjective or an adverb in brackets to complete each sentences correctly (ex.4, p.34)
